We are a trailblazing community dedicated to empowering women trial attorneys to achieve greatness. Built on the core values of Exhilaration, Inclusivity, Guidance, Harmony, and excellence in Trial verdicts, Sisterhood of the 8 inspires women to break barriers and transform the legal profession. We celebrate the thrill of high-stakes litigation, foster a diverse and supportive network, and provide mentorship and resources to help women attorneys secure impactful, 8-figure verdicts. Together, we champion collaboration over competition, balance ambition with well-being, and pursue justice with integrity.

Our annual Mother Trucker's Rally raises scholarship funds for women making a positive impact in the transportation industry and challenges members to elevate themselves as lawyers and individuals through exhilarating activities in unique, immersive learning environments. To further support our members, we offer a dynamic listserv connecting women attorneys across the country, providing a platform to collaborate, share strategies, and tackle cases together.

Christy Crowe Childers

Christy Crowe Childers

Christy Crowe Childers is a trailblazer in truck accident law, a powerhouse advocate for victims, and a champion for women attorneys breaking into the field. After graduating first in her law school class, she co-founded Childers & McCain, LLC in Macon, Georgia, where she has spent nearly two decades holding negligent trucking companies and corporations accountable.

Christy is one of the first five women in the U.S. to become NBTA Board Certified in Truck Accident Law and was the first woman in Georgia to earn this distinction. Her dedication to legal education and mentorship led her to become the Education Chair for the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, where she works to elevate the next generation of trucking lawyers. In 2024, she received the National Board of Trial Advocacy President’s Award for her efforts in helping more women achieve board certification.

Christy believes that women trial attorneys win by pushing boundaries in and out of the courtroom, and she is committed to fostering a strong, supportive network through Sisterhood of the 8. Her record of winning multimillion-dollar verdicts speaks for itself, but her true legacy is the women she empowers along the way. Whether she’s mentoring young attorneys, pioneering new legal strategies, or leading high-stakes cases, she is redefining what’s possible for women in trial law.

Natanya Brooks

Natanya Brooks

Natanya Brooks knows what it means to fight. As a former civil defense attorney, she built a successful career in the courtroom—until a life-changing diagnosis shifted her perspective forever.

During a routine ultrasound while pregnant with her second child, doctors discovered a rapidly growing mass. What was supposed to be a minimally invasive procedure turned into emergency surgery, requiring a full abdominal incision while her baby remained in utero. The experience was terrifying, but thankfully, the mass was benign, and her daughter emerged healthy and strong.

That battle changed everything. Natanya realized her true calling was not in defending corporations but in fighting for people—those who, like her, found themselves in vulnerable, life-altering situations. In 2018, she founded Brooks Injury Law with a mission to give a voice to the unheard, to stand beside those in their toughest moments, and to pursue justice relentlessly.

As a founding member of Sisterhood of the 8, Natanya embodies the resilience, tenacity, and compassion that define this community. She knows that true strength comes not only from winning in the courtroom but from lifting others up along the way. Through this sisterhood, she continues to empower women trial attorneys to break barriers, secure 8-figure verdicts, and fight for the justice their clients deserve.
